Gao Shan Qing is the theme song of the movie named Happenings in Ali Shan (1949). The lyrics were written by Zhou Lan Ping and Deng Yu Ping and the melody was composed by the director Zhang Che according to Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples' folk songs.
　　With the harmony and the high pitch of the tune, the beauty of the nature, humanism and tribes blending of Taiwan expressed by the lyrics, Gao Shan Qing swiftly appealed to most of the people in Taiwan and became one of the most specific songs representative of Taiwan.
