Items to consider for the session chair
  1. The session chair should arrive at least 10 minutes prior in order to make the necessary preparations and get to know personnel on site.

  2. In each section, the first 5 min. is for introduction, and each paper will have 20 min. for presentation PLUS 5 min. for Q&A, (so each paper will have 25 min.). Usually there are 3-4 papers for each section (depending on the number of papers accepted on that track). If there are four papers in a given section, each paper will be 15 min. and 5 min for discussion at the end.

Items to consider for the Speaker

  1. For all those presenting and speaking, please use Microsoft PowerPoint when presenting and email to Ms Chen naiwei0320@gmail.com before July 13th. If unable to send by the deadline, please personally install your files onto the computer on site prior to the meeting. Just to be safe, it is strongly recommended that all speakers bring a backup copy on CD or USB flash drive, there will be personnel on site to assist.

  3. The keynote speaker has 1 hour. The session will be recorded on video and broadcasted at another site simultaneously, and if the speaker agrees, the session will also be broadcasted online in real time.

  4. The facility is equipped with computers, projectors, microphones, laser pointers. There will also be personnel responsible for taking pictures or video taping. If the presenter agrees, the presentation will be broadcasted online in real time.

  5. Besides one Chinese Special Session (no simultaneous interpretation), the meeting and all sessions will be conducted in English.
