會議目的

國際學校圖書館事業學會(IASL， International Association of School Librarianship)，為一個由關心學校圖書館事業相關人士組成的國際性學會，主要任務在推動全球學校圖書館事業的發展。其會員遍佈全世界，目前擁有80個會員國，成員有學校圖書館員、老師、圖書教師、圖書館顧問、行政專家、大學教授、圖書館員、圖書資訊學系學生、出版商、媒體工作者、一般民眾。

2007年IASL年會的主要目的在於讓學術界、研究者，以及所有在學校圖書館的實務工作者得以分享彼此的觀點、見解、研究與實務成果，進而產出應用數位技術於數位學習環境的指導方針。
